Letter from the President
The past year was an exciting first year at Democity chapter as we welcomed in new members to join our growing community. One of the most important accomplishments of the past year was establishing our chapter’s mission statement: “helping local leaders of our industry connect and feel they belong by providing them ample social and professional networking opportunities to grow their careers.”
I strongly believe that our community outreach programs are unique and exemplify our mission statement in full action. From holiday gift-giving programs and sponsoring marathons to organizing volunteer programs for teenagers, our chapters keeps growing in our local region, attracting more members and providing more thought leadership and community involvement than ever before.
Our board is determined to continue to fulfill these goals and mission statement the following year. We believe in our members and the community and look forward to the coming year.
As the President of the chapter, I am happy to work with such competent board volunteers and look forward to involving more members in our activities to offer better programs to the community. I would also like to extend my greatest appreciation to our sponsors.
Best Regards,
Democity President
